Real review of "Mid Valley Financial" in Fresno, CA!

"I have used Mid Valley Financial to purchase my home a few months back. It was my very first home purchase, as I just got married, and to be honest, I was really nervous about the whole process. I didn't go to Mid Valley at first. Well, simply because I had no clue about getting a mortgage lender. If I could turn back time and do it all over again, I would definitely use Mid Valley Financial from the start!
I initially tried Wells Fargo and Bank of America, well, pretty much everyone's standard to get a mortgage. I found the house I really liked, with the price that was just right, and I thought that it will be easy from then on. How I couldn't be more wrong. Not only it took both Wells and Bank of America almost three whole weeks just to review all the paperwork, they never gave us any update about the whole process. It took me by surprise, then, when after 8 weeks of a headache, Bank of America declined our application. Even worse, I have canceled my application to the Wells Fargo because the mortgage agent forgot to lock our initial rate, and offered a significantly higher interest rate instead.
I was severely devastated, and I thought about giving up the dream to finally be a homeowner. I informed the realtor that was selling us the house that we didn't get our mortgage and told her to cancel our offer. However, she suggested to give it another try with Mid Valley Financial, as they have helped her customers in the past. Besides, the homeowner was willing to give us more time. With nothing to lose and low expectation, I gave Mid Valley a call that very day. We scheduled an appointment at 11 am the very next day, but when I showed up, the guy I called hadn't arrived in the office. I waited for half an hour until he finally arrived, well, a red flag, or so I thought.
However, he turned out to be a really nice and professional guy. Of course, he apologized for being late, but then he went straight to the point to explain the available options for us. He was really friendly and really patient in explaining things, an experience we didn't get from Wells Fargo and Bank of America. He suggested us to opt for an FHA loan instead, to increase our chance. Well, I was reluctant at the beginning since I kept hearing bad things about FHA loan, but he ensured us that we will get more benefit out of it, so we agreed.
He did keep all his promise, and our mortgage was done in just 17 days! I was so happy to finally be a homeowner, thanks to Mid Valley Financial and their awesome service. I will definitely recommend Mid Valley Financial to everyone, they are very friendly and professional, and they really know how to do their job well."
