Real review of "Guild Mortgage Company" in Antioch, CA!

"I used Guild Mortgage Company to purchase my current house at Antioch, CA a few years back, and I just used their service to refinance my other house. I have to say that both of those experiences are great, and Guild Mortgage Company is definitely one of the best mortgage lenders in the area.
I just moved to Antioch when I purchased the house where I lived in, and so I didn't know my options for mortgage lenders. Obviously, with that situation, I went to several major banks like the Bank of America and Wells Fargo. My credit score was stellar back then, and of course, I expected that the process will go smoothly. Yet, It can't be further from the truth. It took them more than a week just to call me back to confirm my information, and after that, there are an endless amount of paperwork and more paperwork. As if that's not enough of a hassle, the agent from the Bank of America forgot to lock my initial rate, and he had the guts to offer me a higher interest rate, although the fault is at his end. I refused immediately, hoping that Wells Fargo will offer me a better deal. However, they declined my loan after 8 whole weeks of a headache. I was utterly devastated.
I informed my realtor about the situation, and that I will most likely have to give up the house. That is when she informed me about the Guild Mortgage Company. Thankfully, the homeowner is willing to give me another chance, and so I called Guild immediately. That is how I got introduced to Michelle Paxton, and as soon as we spoke on the phone, I knew that my experience will be different.
Michelle set an appointment to setup my application, and so I visited the very next day. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, a complete opposite of the guys in the so-called 'major' banks. She was very patient in answering all my questions, and thoroughly explained everything, easing my concerns because of my previous experiences. Not to mention, she offered a really great rate, far better than the other banks. She understood that I wouldn't have much time left, so she promised to try her best to close the deal as soon as possible. Thankfully, she kept her promise, and the loan was closed in just slightly over 2 weeks. I wouldn't own this house if not for her.
The process to refinance the other house was slightly more complicated, as the deal was unique and complex. Mellisa again did her job tremendously well, and although the deal was not usual, she closed the deal in a timely manner of under 30 days. As I've said before, I believe Guild Mortgage Company is definitely one of the best mortgage lenders in Antioch area, especially Michelle Paxton. It's rare in this business to find someone so friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done as fast as possible."
